Civility and Respect Pledge

At the Parish Council meeting held on Monday 20 July 2026, the Parish Council adopted the Civilty and Respect pledge which enable us to demonstrate our commitment to addressing poor behaviour across and fostering positive changes that support civil and respectful conduct.

In adopting the pledge, the Council affirmed its commitment to:

• Promoting a culture of civility, respect, and positive behaviour among councillors, staff, and members of the public.
• Addressing bullying, harassment, and intimidation within the council environment.
• Upholding high standards of conduct through appropriate training, development, and adherence to the Code of Conduct.
• Supporting a safe, professional, and constructive working environment that strengthens local democracy and public confidence.
